Ocean Games is a full day of fun at the beach, cheering on the open water swimmers as they race to the finish line. Volunteers will support the needs of the athletes/participants to ensure a safe, friendly fun event for all!

Event volunteers are one or two-day volunteers who assist with everything from set-up and clean-up to athlete registration, meal distribution, and scorekeeping.

Volunteers will work alongside the Swim Ocean City support staff and Ocean City Beach Patrol. Students will receive credit and a letter of completion.

“My daughter, Michele and I helped out in the morning for Corey’s Swim. We were then assigned to number each participant with a marker, and make sure they had their gift bag. “It was a lot of fun!”

The event is well organized and the people in charge of the different facets of the day worked hard so that the event ran smoothly. I would recommend volunteering in some capacity for this event and I really enjoyed myself for the 4-hour shift I was assigned. I am hopeful we will have that assignment again next year.”
